VSCode Remote Connection Failed - Mint Starter Kit

Issue

If you encounter the following error in the VS Code output during remote connection, you can refer to the solution below.

Solution

Open Extensions Sidebar

Open the Extensions sidebar on the left, find the installed “Remote - SSH” extension, right-click on it, and select “Extension Settings”.

Edit Config File

In the “Config File” section, enter the path of the config file mentioned in the error message.

Retry Connection

Try reconnecting and observe whether the issue is resolved.
